ELIS Innovation Hub (EIH) is currently focusing its efforts on the development of Deliverable D6.3 “Techno-Economic Evaluation and Stakeholders’ Feedback”, which aims to provide a comprehensive assessment of pilot performance, stakeholder engagement, and alignment with FAME project goals and market expectations.
Phase 1: Content and Structure
During Phase 1, EIH developed the structure and content of the evaluation document and initiated engagement with all pilots through a standardized questionnaire. The questionnaire was divided into four main sections: Business Metrics, Technical Metrics, Pentagon-Based Evaluation, and Pilot Workshop Overview. Each pilot was asked to complete the questionnaire, allowing us to gather both quantitative and qualitative insights regarding their current status, expected performance, and perceived value.
This initial input enabled EIH to build a preliminary overview of each pilot’s level of maturity and relevance, forming the foundation for the first assessment cycle and the visual representation using the pentagon model.
Phase 2: Engaging Stakeholders
Since February 2025, we have entered Phase 2, focusing on supporting pilots in the engagement of relevant stakeholders. EIH designed and shared with the pilots a planning template and a task checklist aimed at guiding them in structuring their stakeholder engagement plans into distinct phases, specifying for each phase the activities, outputs, objectives, and modalities/methodologies employed.
The information collected through the completed slides returned by the pilots is currently being analyzed to assess how pilot activities have evolved and to understand how stakeholder interaction is influencing each pilot’s development trajectory. This process is crucial to assess the market-readiness, applicability, and scalability of the solutions developed within the FAME ecosystem.
Through this ongoing activity, EIH continuously works to observe, guide, and support the pilots in reviewing and improving their implementations, ensuring that they remain aligned with the principles and objectives of the FAME project and the expectations of the market—thanks also to the valuable feedback gathered from stakeholders.
